It is important to know the initial management of an acute injury. The first 2-3 days are the most important in that it is vital we prevent the injury from getting worse.
Initial goals are:
to reduce the inflammation
control the swelling and pain
Protect the injury from further damage by stopping sport or demanding physical activity
To aid healing rest the leg and reduce the amount of walking until it is pain free

Over 65 Exercise Classes

These classes are designed to increase mobility, strength and balance. Classes have been running on Wednesdays at 11.00 am and 12.00 am and have proven such a success that we are now adding classes on Thursdays at 11.00 am and 12.00 am.
The special rate is only €72 for a course of 6 classes. The new course will start on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th September.
