Hip & Knee pain
Image
The hips and knees are two of the largest joints in the body and they take on a significant amount of the body's weight, therefore over time a lot of ‘wear and tear’ can occur. There are very large muscle groups that attach to both the hips and the knees, and therefore these joints are also susceptible to muscular and tendon injuries.

See below a list of common hip and knee conditions that we treat:

  • Hip and knee osteoarthritis
  • Trochanteric (hip) bursitis
  • Groin strains or tear
  • Gluteal tendinopathy
  • Hamstring/quadriceps strain or tear
  • Patellar tendinopathy
  • Quadriceps tendinopathy
  • Pelvic pain
  • Piriformis syndrome
  • Post-op (most often total hip replacement or total knee replacement)
  • Patellofemoral pain syndrome (AKA ‘runners knee’)
  • Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITB)
  • Hip impingement
  • Infrapatellar fat pad syndrome
  • Osgood’s-Schlatters disease
