In the past year there has been a significant increase in the amount of patients presenting to the clinic with headaches. Tension type headaches are the most common type of headache. It is pain or discomfort in the head, scalp, or neck, and is often associated with muscle tightness in these areas.

Typically a tension type headache occurs on both sides of the head and is a continuous feeling of pressure and tension in the area. You may have trouble concentrating or difficulty sleeping. Very often there will be a restriction in neck mobility.
