Although the weather recently has been more 4 seasons in one day than spring like. Now with the longer evenings and the brighter mornings is the perfect time to start some routines to increase exercise and benefit your health and fitness.
Whether you are already a walker, runner swimmer or gym goer there is the opportunity to reflect on your current exercise, what gives you a spring in your step and brightens your day. If you are new to exercise a good starting goal is to hit your 10,000 steps daily. It could be as simple as walking to the shop, or going for a walk and a chat with a friend. The easiest way to get moving and stay motivated is to do it with other people. There are lots of walking and running groups around the country or set one up yourself! Alternatively, many people find that their exercise is the perfect time for some solitude and to get away from their busy life. Either way, before you know it will have become a habit you will be feeling the benefits of a healthier lifestyle.
